(Part 9) – Road Trip To Las Vegas, NV – Jan 2017 – Headed Back to Houston

This is the last part of the 2017 Las Vegas trip series. Below are some of the final pictures we took. The ride back started out smooth and then we ran into a small emergency with one of my passengers and I had to detour to the hospital for a full day in Deming, NM. After the hospital in Deming, I didn’t want to prolong the trip any more than it needed to be, so I put on my former trucking hat and started grinding gears straight through to Houston, Tx. It was a 14-hour straight drive, only stopping for gas along the way.

Lets’ start the final pictures with some of Dylan and his 1-year-old brother Julian they had taken while still in Las Vegas.

The next set of pictures was at a rest area after just entering New Mexico. You can Dylan below holding the bolder up so it doesn’t crush him. Or so the picture makes it seem. 🙂

And finally, below, are two mountain pictures just before we ended up on the side of the road calling 911 for an ambulance. We were about 8 miles from Deming, NM on I-10 when this happened.

Disclaimer: The identity and medical information is private of the passenger we went to the hospital for and we will not be sharing that information with anyone. Please do not ask for it.
